Accidental dupe find!

So I stumbled across this dupe today while having a mini binge at Superdrug.
I loved the pulp fiction lipstick but decided to purchase the lip liner as I preferred the Matt finish. After seeing the lipstic on other blogs I was a wee bit sad that I'd not bought it but hay ho.
But then today as I was eyeballing the collection section I noticed this new deluxe colour! It's colour 01 called prohibition and it costs £3.99. It wasn't till I got it home that I realised how similar the coulours were!
So here it is in its full glory! Sorry about the awful pic of me and my Holliday freckles.

Thanks for reading my mini post.

What's in the Post, mini haul!

Doesn't everyone love it when you get goodies in the post? I do! Although I know what Iv Orderd I thought you would like to see too!

When it comes to payday I always like to get a beauty treat! Somthing that is more pricy than I would normally like to spend! So this month it was the lime crime orchidaceous liquid eyeliner. At £9.00 it's way more than I'd normally spend. The postage on this beauty was also £3.50 which was a shame but still worth it as the eyeliner colour is amazing!!! Thanks cute cosmetics for bringing lime crime to the uk!

Next, When somthing really good comes with a magazine the chance of getting it in cumbria is slim to non. And the latest glamour freebee was IMPOSSIBLE to get! I looked everywhere including hull and some of the motorway stops on the way to hull! Ha ha.  Anyway! In the end I gave up and bought them on eBay from them nasty people who by them to make profit so I can't in the shop!!! They should of been two pounds each but I got the two for £9.00.

Next parcel is a blast from the past! Yep that's right it's Mulan! I LOVE Disney and this is one of my favourite films! It was about £3.00 secondhand from Amazon.

Last but not least is this book! The dream  thieves by Maggive Stiefvater! It's the second book in a triogy I think. I have read the first book a while ago, so the other day decided I'd like to know what happens!  This book was also from Amazon second hand for £2.50.

And that's all folks! Looking forward to watching, reading, and testing these beauty's out!
Hope your having a lovely summer!

Lipstick whim let down!

This is the MUA matte lipstick in the colour lilac belle.
For £1.00 how let down could I possibly be?
We'll quite is the answer to that question! This colour looks amazing! The smell of this lipstick is gorgeous, a mix of vanilla and buttery balm!
BUT after 10 swipes of this and still you can't tell I have it on! It's sheer to the point of invisible!
Also it's so see through you can't tell it's matte. Which makes it pointless!
So basically a big old let down by MUA!

Here's the lippy in action!
Sorry about the lack of makeup!

Well that's all folks, Hope you've had an amazing day!
Love sue x x

Rimmel love

So i popped out in my break to boots yesterday only to find money off Rimmel (yay) and because it would of been rude not too i picked up Lasting finish by Kate lipstick/rossetto/rouge a levres, in number 22. The coulour is called ermmm.......i don't think it has a name which is rubbish!
But never the less the colour is rich and balmy and smells like the usual rimmel watermelon!
The colour really lasts too.
The only downside i would say is that as a very pale skinned lassy it does make me look even more pale! but thats a small price to pay if you already look like caspa the friendly ghost! ha ha

Hope your haviing a lovely sunny day! suze xxx

Lipstick number 3! BarryM, colour 156, Vicious violet!

This has been a difficult colour to use everyday. It's a high mantence lipstick! I say this because it looks at it's best when the colour is first applied and is a strong solid colour!  But saying that it is a long stay lipstick.

The colour is a dark purple berry. I have a very pale skin tone but this colour still works.
Like I say it's hard work this lippy but is it worth the effort? Yes! It's a colour that grabs attention.

I wore this colour with a skull, heart and rose print H+M dress a primark denom jacket and belt.

So overall I am giving the BarryM lipstick number 156, Vicious Violet:
Price: cheap priced at £4.49 ( thanks BarryM! )
Longevity: I ok really, lasts a cup of tea but not lunch! Needs a good few touch ups in a day, 4 out of 10.
Smell: waxy but not overpowering when on your lips!
Over all I give this a 6 out of 10! Well worth the price tag.

Goodbye for now! Lippy love! Sue x x x

Lipstick number two! colour rush, all you need is pink!

So i have been using Rimmel lasting finish colour rush colour balm in colour 120 all you need is pink for the past four days and i must say im very impressed! After you build the colour balm up it lasts ages. It's almost like a lip stain. It really does last that long! Its not greasy at all! it's mousturising and creamy!
The smell is devine, its like sniffing a fresh vanilla pod.
In this first photo i have just put the balm on for the first time and only have one coat on!

On my first day off work wearing this colour i paired it with a rock look of black jeans, a primark holely black jumper and my skull allstars. Bit of skull River island scarf action here too! The hat is vintage!

Im giving the Rimmel Balm:
price is cheap for a Balm stick at 4.99.
Longevity was supergood, 8 out of 10!
Smell is lush!
Over all i give this 9 out of ten!! Rimmel annother win! ooh forgot to mention that this is from the Riita Ora range!!!

Bye for now! Lippy love! sue x x x

Lipstick number one! Sleek, Heartbreaker

So I had this idea today! I have all this lipstick that I really want to get more use out of!
Also it's always nice to see what other people think is good and bad on the high street!
I'm going to judge them for things like price, longevity, smell (always important to me!) and how much I like the product!

So here we go!

I'm starting with sleek true colour lipstick, the colours called Heartbreaker and it's number 779. It's a Matt lipstick! I cheated with this colour and used the body shop born lippy strawberry lip balm as the lipstick was just too dry. I do sometimes have this problem with Matt lippys so it's probably not a lipstick fault!
I love this colour, It lasted really well. It Slid a little but not too much! It however didn't last through food and had to be reapplied after a cookie!

Im giving the sleek:
Price is mid market, at about £7.99 (well worth every penny)
Longevity was good really, 5 out of 10. (As long as you don't eat! Ha ha)
Smell is minimal (hint of wax)
Over all I'd give this a 7 out of 10 as I frigging love the colour!!! Sleek does amazing lippys if you can find any in the shops as there ALWAYS sold out! (That is decently Is a down side!)

And this is how I rocked this lippy! In my primary Johnny cash t and next boyfriend jeans!
Any questions please feel free to drop a line! I'd love to hear from you and hear what you like!

Lippy love! Sue x x x
